Writing
Students today spend more time browsing the Internet and engaging in various online activities, such as MSN, Facebook, Blog, etc. Do you agree that these online activities can do more good than harm to them ?
In this day and age, many teenagers spend more time on the online activities, such as MSN, Facebook, Blog, etc. They use less time in learning, I would like to argue that there are more advantages of online activities than disadvantages.
Firstly, students can use MSN to chat with their friends or family over the internet. If they go overseas to study, they can easily keep the contact with their friends and relatives. Moreover, Facebook is another online social network where they can also meet and connect with friends. In addition, they can post their photos in the facebook for sharing.
Students can use blogs to write their online diaries. Blogs can not only introduce oneself but also sharing ideas and information for learning and teaching. In fact, Blogs are one of many platforms that benefit from optimization. Students can show their work and display their writing. This is also a good way promote themselves.
Students can take part in online games to release themselves from the pressure of learning. Both MSN and Facebook provide many free online games. They can also play the networked games to have fun and meet new friends.
If students effectively allocate their time in both the online activities and learning tasks, they will surely enjoy the full benefits of the Internet facilities.
